Poly Pizza Render Competition Terms and Conditions
Schedule
Promoter: Poly Pizza.
Entry: Entrants must be over the age of 16 to enter. If under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction), entrants must have explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian, including written consent that can be verified by the Promoter.
Competition Period: See relevant post for competition start and end times.
How to enter: During the Competition Period, entrants must visit Promoter’s Contest webpage (the “Contest Page”) and follow all directions for entry. You must have a Poly Pizza account to enter.
Receipt of entries: Entries are captured via the poly pizza website.
Prize(s): The prize of 300 AUD will be sent via PayPal or another agreed-upon method within 28 days of competition conclusion. Poly pizza will pay any transfer or exchange fees within reason. Poly Pizza recommends consulting with a tax advisor to understand any tax liabilities that may arise in the winner's jurisdiction.
Determining the winner(s): The entries will be judged, and the winner(s) will be determined, no later than 7 days after the competition period has ended. Winners will be notified via email.
Publishing results: Within 7 days of the winner(s) being determined, the name and entry
of each winner will be published via the website blog.
INTRODUCTION

- By participating in the Competition, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these terms and
conditions.
- Entries must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
- Where there is an inconsistency between the Schedule and Parts A to J of these terms and
conditions, the schedule will prevail.
Submission
Entrants retain ownership of their submitted works. However, by participating, entrants grant Poly Pizza a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce the entries in connection with the competition and for promotional purposes related to Poly Pizza's services, across all media but not for commercial resale. Entrants agree to attribute any models used in their submission according to the Creative Commons Attribution license.
PRIVACY
Poly Pizza is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants. Personal information collected during the competition will be used for the administration of the contest, prize distribution, and promotional purposes as outlined in these terms. Participants have the right to access, update, or delete their personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, which complies with the Australian Privacy Principles.
The Promoter will collect and use each entrant’s personal information for the purposes of: (a)
conducting the Competition and for promotional purposes, public statements and advertisements in relation to the Competition; (b) providing information about the products and services offered by the Promoter and its related companies and its affiliated retailers; and (c) research to improve its products and services
PART C - WHO CAN ENTER THE COMPETITION
- Directors and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or its related companies or agencies and Participating Retailers are not eligible to enter. Immediate families means spouse, ex-spouse, child, step-child, parent, step-parent, legal guardian, sibling or step-sibling.
PART D – HOW TO ENTER THE COMPETITION
- To enter, each entrant must comply with the ‘How to Enter’ section on the competition page
- If the Schedule permits entrants to submit more than one entry, each entry must be unique and submitted separately.
- Entries must not have been published previously or used to win prizes in other competitions.
- An entry cannot be modified after it has been submitted.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to request verification of the age, identity,
residential address or any other information relevant to participation in the Competition of all
entrants. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who provides false information or fails to provide information that is reasonably requested by the Promoter.
- The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse to accept entries which are
incomplete, indecipherable, offensive, do not comply with these terms and conditions or which contravene any applicable laws or regulations.
- The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who has
breached any of these terms and conditions, has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct or
otherwise acts to cheat or undermine the fairness of the Competition by, for example, tampering with, or using or exploiting errors in, the entry process to obtain a competitive advantage over other entrants.
- The eligibility of entries is solely within the discretion of the Promoter.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected or damaged entries or other
communications.
PART E - PRIZES
- All taxes (excluding GST, if any) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a Prize are the sole responsibility of each winner.
PART F - HOW THE WINNER(S) ARE DETERMINED
- The Competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner(s).
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
- At the time and date specified in the “Determining the winner(s)” section of the Schedule, each valid entry will be judged individually on its merits by the Judges based on the Content Criteria.
- The winning entry or entries will be the entry or entries that best satisfy the Content Criteria, as determined by the Judges.
- The Judges’ decision will be final and binding and no correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.
PART G - CONTENT RESTRICTIONS:
- The Submission must not contain material that violates or infringes any rights of any other party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or any other intellectual property rights;
- The Submission must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party;
- The Submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
- The Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
- The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations of the eligible jurisdiction or of any jurisdiction where Submission is created or submitted;
- The Submission must be consistent with the image and values of Sponsor and be consistent with and satisfy the purpose of the Contest;
- Submissions must be original pieces, achieved/created by the person who submits the entry. Entrants may not copy or otherwise plagiarize Submissions from any source, this is inclusive of but not limited to concept art, nor may Submissions include third-party copyrighted material or artwork without the copyright holder’s permission, attribution, and a link back to the original work.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER
We have, in preparing this competition information, used our best endeavours to ensure that the
information contained therein is true and accurate, but accept no responsibility and disclaim all
liability in respect of any errors, inaccuracies or misstatements contained herein. If one or more provisions of these Official Rules shall be found invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Official Rules shall not be affected in any way thereby.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
Any attempted form of entry other than as set forth above is prohibited; no automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted.
In the event of a dispute regarding the competition, entries, or judging process, participants can submit a written complaint to Poly Pizza's competition administration within 14 days of the competition's conclusion. Poly Pizza commits to an impartial review of all disputes and will provide a written response outlining the resolution within 28 days of receiving the complaint.
This competition is governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from or related to the competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, acknowledging that this does not preclude the application of mandatory consumer protection laws of participants' countries of residence.
